Collection of photocopies contains correspondence sent to Captain Frederick Beck while serving in the Civil War with Company F, 108th Regiment, Ohio Volunteer Infantry, sent primarily from his brother George Beck in Columbus, Ohio. One letter from and one letter in German about 108th Regt. surgeon, Adolph Zipperlen are included. A broadside contains a account of a flag presentation to Sherman Guards by ladies of Columbus.
